The Science of Candy

Mr. Busypants brought home a lab report he wrote on a solids to liquids experiment.

Beginning date: 4-8-10
My solid: candy
My liquid: water

My hypothesis is "the water will change color."

My conclusion: "The water is pink. And the candy is all gone."

Ending date: 4-12-10

I had Jorie performed this experiment; here is her lab report:

Beginning date: 4-15-10
My solid: candy
My liquid: water

My hypothesis is "I am going to eat the candy before I can put it in the water to change the color."

My conclusion: I ate the candy. The color of the water did not change.

Ending date: 4-15-10, 2 second later
